Cool when walking. Bad when driving down a 79degree mountain in a sedan with no traction.

It's really rather hard to see when there's a lot of fog, and I don't think you can get to your destination very fast with this type of weather.

nice to walk in, especially at night or near sunrise; makes good photo opportunities if the lighting is right; interesting to drive in, as long as its not too thick and people keep their speeds low, but thick fog, especially in teh middle of the day, is a nightmare to try to drive in, especially when you cant even see four feet

Fog is hateful. Fog is an incarnation of the humidity we always fight here in Houston. You don't know fog unless you've experienced WARM Gulf Coast fog. When you look across a wet cow pasture on humid October mornings, you can see gray fog rise like steam from a city sewer, nature's nausea after a binging night. It leads to depression and headaches. On the other hand, it's so nice once it has lifted, especially in the Spring. Post-fog is good. During post-fog, you can see the clouds moving by really fast and low to the ground.
