I don't mind cool weather so as to wear a light jacket or sweater. But just as I don't care for weather that's too hot, I don't care for weather that's too cold, either. On the other hand, the cold weather is a good opportunity to stay indoors and cook up some mouth-watering chili! So, I'll give it an extra star.

i live in Florida, so any time its cold is nice, my particular favorite cold is either mid-60s, sunny, and breezy, or low-50s,cloudy, and rainy 30-40 temps are good at night, i just open the window, turn the fan on, and cover up

I love it when it's cool outside, like in fall. Not sure if this is the same thing as cold, so i can only give it 4.

the best time to curl up in a nice warm blanket with a cup of hot chocolate and a good book

Good for staying indoors and sipping hot cocoa by the fire.

The cold is the greatest feeling ever. After the Patriots won the Superbowl a few years ago, my friends and I attended the Patriots Parade in Boston in February. It was actually one of the coldest days that year for Boston. 24 degrees for a high! And that was the high, for the majority of the day, it was only in the upper teen's. Anyway, there were over 300,000 people there, so we went early to get in the front. We stood there for about 4-5 hours not moving at all. Some people were so cold they had to leave. By the end of it, my feet were like literally frozen solid. It took another 2 hours until I could finally feel them. So that's my cold story. And on every New Year's day in Boston, its a tradition to run into Boston harbor. I'm definetely doing that some time. UPDATE: Before, 10 degrees was for me very cold and bone chilling, even for up here. But last night it was the coldest night on record. -12 with -40 wind chills. Schools all over New England were shut down in advance and people even freezed to death because of it. So much for global warming, huh?

Yuck, seems no matter how much you are wearing or how heavy your coat, you are still cold.

Cold feels like a physical hunger for warmth. I hate it. I spent a winter in Chicago once. My slogan became COLD = PAIN. That's why I'll always be a Southerner. Y'all can keep it.
