 | K_Man414 (0) 03/28/2005 | Not really a hard grade. You get to have fun and go on field trips. Would you rather do work than play?

 | Vudija (92) 03/17/2005 | By far the best year of my life-I thought the world and my life was perfect; I hadn't experienced the pain that goes along with growing up; I was still innocent and naive about everything-if only it could have stayed that way.

 | SpecialboothvicJr. (10) 11/09/2004 | I remembered what it was like back. I met some new friends and had some fun there. But I also look back and see how long it was ago. But now I move.

 | scarletfeather (47) 10/09/2004 | Kindergarten was great! I went to a little Episcopal kindergarten, and I was fascinated by the school priest, Father diRaddo (if you're still out there, love ya!) In my spare time, I tried to imitate him, but my impressions of him were limited to solemnly intoning, Oh Gawd..Oh Gawd. During services, we used kneelers, which fascinated this budding little Methodist. I had a great teacher my first semester of kindergarten, a sassy gal who had a beehive hairdo and wore miniskirts. My mother said the lady constantly rapped me on the knuckles with a ruler, but I was so enraptured by my teacher that the pain was meaningless to me. During Christmas break, rumor had it that the lady ran off with another man;at any rate, come January she was replaced by a more conventional and wholesome teacher. The highlight of my kindergarten career was dressing up as the peacock for the Noah's Ark play. Since I was a shy little thing back then, nobody thought I could pull it off, but I reveled in shaking my peacock feathers dramatically. Kindergarten! Those were the days!

 | Mr.Political (18) 10/09/2004 | I had a pretty weird kindergarten teacher and -no joke- one day I saw her bagging grocery's at the local Stop & Shop...

 | WarGamefan93 (3) 09/04/2004 | I had just moved from Cincinnati and was the new kid. I didn't have trouble making friends though and it was a good time.

 | ClassicTVFan47 (36) 10/02/2003 | Kindergarten was mostly unmemorable to me, personally. Except, on a few occasions. :) The only time I was ever sent to the principal's office was in Kindergarten, for throwing crayons! I didn't get paddled, though! And, unlike the other students, I knew my phone number. My teacher wasn't that nice, however.

 | cromulance (1) 08/12/2003 | Hmmm...nap times, snack times, playing with toys, drawing, singing, painting, playground time...wow, can't believe there was a time when school was FUN!

 | snlgirl (0) 07/29/2003 | Kindergarten was great! All we did was sing songs, fingerpaint, drink milk, and listen to story time! Also, in my kindergarten class we went on a field trip to an orchard, where we got to pet goats, and we got some free apple cider! I met my best friend in kindergarten too.

 | CastleBee (81) 07/28/2003 | I liked kindergarten but remember being upset after the first week. I wanted to learn to read really badly. I even told my younger sister on the morning of my first day of school that I would come home and read the comics to her. After about a week I realized this wasn't going to happen any time soon and I announced that I wasn't going back. I figured it just wasn't doing me any real good. I had to settle for learning to finger paint and try to lay still during nap time instead.
