Real mixed year. A new school, much bigger than I was used to. Hit puberty early and grew like crazy. This made me a hit with coaches and I had a good athletic year. Spent the year watching my Dad die, which took a lot of focus off everything else.

Ugh. The grade that is packed with annoying Hilary Duff teenyboppers and drama queens. Eight graders are mouthy and constantly cause chaos in the halls. Most of them are very immature and rude to their teachers.

I'm only in 7th grade and I already know what the 8th graders are like in my school. Kids keep being mean and shoving others. I keep seeing how mean they are. And they start to swear a lot.

A hard year for me. I spent a lot of time figuiring out who I was. A lot of people started getting involved in drugs. I was a loner, I wish I had one real friend to help me through.

8th grade for me was divided evenly between two schools. Midway through the school year I moved to Texas. This year was largely uneventful, as I had to leave my friends in Kentucky and had not been in Texas long enough to develop any strong friendships.

I was really unpopular in Eighth grade, but me and my best friend really had so much fun anyways! Cathey and I were outcasts, but we were like Romy and Michelle, having a blast anyways.

So far, grade 8 hasn't been half bad. There's hardly any homework, and I have good teachers. So much other stuff has happened to me this year, I guess I haven't thought overly about school.

As they might say, the bad before the awesome. At this time, my acne was at its worst, goofy teachers demanded cutbacks in my weather reports, and the amount of people picking on me went up as well. People talking dirty got so bad that my best friend and I had to sit on the other side of the lunchroom at lunch. But, it wasn't all bad. I continued to make new friends, and started what would become my longest-running story series EVER. It also snowed some this year, which as always, ROCKS THE PROVERBIAL HOUSE!

I liked 8th grade. I had friends in almost every one of my classes, and I liked my teachers and didn't think the work was that hard. I was really self concious about myself all year though, which made it not great.
