Okay, to be fair the last time I was in Charley's Guitar shop was about 5 years ago. Maybe things have improved. Anyways, I was just starting out in music and took my first instrument, a Squier bass in to be setup and to have the volume pot replaced. Well, it seemed like they were kind of miffed that I wanted to have such an inexpensive instrument worked on but they took it and I waited several weeks for them to get to it. When it was finally ready I went to pick it up and found that there were now mismatched knobs on it that were already wobbly! Apparently they forgot that I told them the original knobs were in the case. I expected them to change them out for me but I only got the bum's rush with a good load of disdain for good measure! Well, I don't play a Squier bass anymore, now I own an absolutely gorgeous American Custom Strat that needs some setup and fret work done and I am looking for a good place to do the work. Anybody know one?
