Black socks are much better. On most occasions though, white will do the trick.

What, like JUST white socks and nothing else? In that case, just strip them off too, mind as well go all the way. White socks in general are more of a staple rather than articles of attractive clothing, it's something that I don't really care much about.

White socks have their place, especially when wearing work-out clothes or sweats, they are fine. But if you are wearing a nice outfit with dark pants and dark shoes, do yourself a favor and wear dark colored socks.
