Being the tipsiest, certainly. Deciding to tell the boss exactly what's wrong with the company when you've got a snootful, normally bad. Bringing up your lunch in a wastebasket, expect to be the subject of office gossip for weeks on end.

Encouraged among my crew, but we are satellite and sound guys! Either way, I am at the Dish Network Team Summit in Denver right now and I will get to see first hand what a bunch a alkies all the Dish folk are. I've heard the stories for a few years and with my military background I'll fit right in. (hiccup)

At some functions I've been to, I've seen 40-year old's partying like college freshman. Looking silly doing the chicken dance is one thing but inevitably you have to go back to working with these people in a professional environment and you don't want to jeapordize your career. If you really want to get tanked then take out one of your buddies to the local dive and get a cab home.

Yeah, I'm going tomorrow to my office's official happy hour. There will certainly be people who get too tipsy, but that's not a good situation to find yourself in, especially in front of your co-workers and bosses, who like an employee who has complete control of themselves most of the time. And of course you don't want to do things that will cause you embarrassment in front of the same people you have to face everyday. So it wouldn't be a smart to get smashed in an office party. Now lets see if my co-workers agree!
