Not bad over all, It's a CCB weapon anyway. It's meant to cause fragments at a small range.

Horribly downgraded since Halo 1. Small splash, weak, and crappy distance.

They travel a rediculously short distance in comparison to halo 1 and are less powerful, but this was necessary, as they unbalanced the original game a bit.
