I thought this was southern for "after all".

When I was on this, it worked very well controlling my ADHD.

HOWEVER, This medicine is VERY dangerous and should be taken with EXTREME caution. It's been linked to deadly heart attacks, strokes, and sudden deaths, even during regular dosage. It is especially dangerous in an overdose. I was on this 3 or 4 years ago and suddenly started having heart problems. I had had heart problems as a baby but they had later been resolved up until then. I was having very rapid heart beat for no reason whatsoever. I could be sitting very still and quietly and my heartrate would be 140+. I was also having palpitations. I was sent to a Cardiologist and he ordered that I be taken off Adderall immediately. The heart problems have since been much better, although recently I had palpitations again for no reason. I am now on Straterra and have been for about 3 yrs. but it too has been linked to probelms, except they involve the liver.

I actually take this for dysthymia, which made me unable to concentrate. With adderall, I feel like a HUMAN. I never did before, I was depressed for no reason and could not get motivated. Now I feel happy, I can think and focus, and my work/social life is much better. This stuff is amazing, a million times better than Ritalin.

When I first started taking it, it opened my eyes to what life was really like. I could actually go a while conversation without thinking about something else. You are not as create with adderall, but most life situations call for you to pay attention and follow, not to be creative. My productivity went up 5 fold. Great.

Makes me a little irritable but it gets the job done.
