Used as an anti-depressant, for Bi-Polar individuals and as an anti-anxiety drug. Main use is to prevent seizures. Has many complications, with the liver being a main target and is contra-indicated in many cases. If you trust your doctor, and he prescribes it, give it a go. Otherwise, you might want to stay clear.
