The people who answer the forum posts are not educated in the subject matter. They are not licensed and they are not lawyers. They are just people who found the site when they themselves were in financial trouble. The debt samaritans are people who have posted a lot and the moderators are people who have posted a lot more. They are awarded debtcc point for 10 lines written, and each point is then worth one cent, which can be redeemed for cash. Here’s the problem… anyone can get to be a samaritan or a moderator. All they have to do is post a lot. The more they post, the more they’re paid. Even if the information they’re posting is wrong - and a lot of it is. They give legal advice even if they aren’t lawyers. They tell people not to repay their debt. They tell them to ignore creditors. That’s the worst thing someone in financial trouble can do! If you’re looking for someone to say “I’ve been there. I know how you feel,” that’s fine. But don’t trust them with your financial future. Their advice will only get you into deeper trouble. Seek advice from a licensed, reputable source.

No stars. Written by a bunch of foreigners (India I believe). It is largely full of misinformation and the D & B logo and hackersafe logo are fake.

This site really sucks. Horrible advice and bad information. Anybody looking for legit financial advice needs to definitely avoid debtconsolidationcare.com. The only information listed here are from other people who have no clue what they are doing with their finances nor know what they are talking about. A lot of whiners and complainers and a ton of bad information.

Great informational site with a large participating community. I was suffering with huge payday loan debt. This site has helped me getting rid of that. There is also a good earning opportunity if you post in their forums. Here is my thumbs up for the site.
