This rating of Holy Family is really a rating of Father Bloom. I don't know him personally, but justice demands he be given recognition. In five years of attending Holy Family I have not observed liturgical abuses like I have at all other churches I have attended in the last 40 years except where the Traditional Mass is celebrated. Holy Family is a "poor" parish with a lot of immigrant parishioners (probably a blessing) and the rest of the clery dosen't compare favorbly to Father Bloom, in my opinion. But if you would like to attend Mass where it is celebrated according to the liturgical norms I suggest you attend the 8:00 AM Sunday Mass. And the 8:30 PM Mass on Tuesday may make you appreciate what Mass is really about.
