I thought Spaghetti-O's were great when I was a kid.  Now, not so much. I'm assuming my young inexperienced palate just didn't know any better.  Mushy pasta in a watery red/orange sauce with a funny aftertaste?  I'll pass, thanks.

Do they still make this stuff? I ate it as a kid decades ago, and remember enjoying it at the time, but I was pretty undiscriminating when it came to food back then. In retrospect, it does seem pretty nauseating-- what was supposed to be spaghetti out of a can; tasteless faux pasta, gummy orange sauce. I think the same company that made Spaghetti-O's also made macaroni and cheese in a can, and I only ate that once, if I remember right. It was white and thick, like pus, and I was unable to take more than a bite or 2 when my mother served it to me, which was unusual for me. It's been decades since I partook, but just the thought of that long-ago lunch is enough to make me gag even now.

I could never bring myself to eat canned pasta.  I've always thought of it as food for rummy's

Spaghetti-O's (or rather the generic brand version of the same stuff), as well as canned ravioli made up a good portion of my Sunday dinners when the cafeteria was closed. Generic brand canned pasta may not taste that great, but it certainly is edible, and it's cheap.

Food?

I have to admit I was a food snob at college. No matter how poor I was (I was evicted from three aparments) No matter how broke I was (I stole a winter coat) No matter how bad the situation was (not getting medical treatment because of no insurance) I simply refused to eat this ghetto-crap food. . .I swore that I would eat well and have just enough to study and party. My wife says she never met a man who only ate things from cookbooks. ..

I don't know why, but I used to love this stuff, but I guess my memories of it were skewed. I've tried some recently. I would have vomited, but by the looks of the contents of the can, it appears someone had already beaten me to it.

Spaghetti os came out when I was 1 & Ive almost lived on them ever since. The best thing to eat with them is nacho cheese doritos & pepsi. Yummmy!

Spaghetti-O's are a dorm room staple! I would probably be dead if it weren't for them. Random fact: I love the way they taste and hate the way they smell.

Its very cheap and doesnt expire easy, also, it good heated up or not, you could eat it right out of the can if you want!

its a good snack once in while!the sause is not that great,but its pretty good if your hungry.
