 | pugwash01 (15) 01/29/2007 | Hey, some of the best preachers in the world came from the Methodist church. Maybe some of you need to do a term in Church history for you to understand that!! However I would say that some of their doctrinal statements have been somewhat strange.

 | revrod22 (1) 02/24/2006 | Very tiring and very boring sermons. Everything is a METHOD and it is getting very old very quick. It's all about tradition and nothing about actual working in the Spirit.

 | OrangeCharlie (5) 12/22/2004 | I was raised Catholic and attended Catholic school. That was enough to drive me away. I'm now a member of a United Methodist Church and I truly wish I would have been raised in a UMC. During my shopping around for a church, I found many that seemed to preach superiority to other religions and ones who seemed like they were creating an artificial joy. The UMC I am a member of does neither. My wife and I look forward to raising our family in the UMC.
