Tom Morello rules! He may not be the best known dude, but he kicks ass! I am actually a Swiss an you never hear anything about Rage... or Audioslave(which is my all-time favourite band), but when I first heard them, I fell in love with their music and the smooth 'n' rockin' riffs! Everytime they release a new song I always listen very carefully and wait for the one moment, when Morello kicks in his effects and plays his solo - I always am blown away: He's my guitarhero!

He's great...not amazingly great, but still great. He's got lots of talent, but he doesn't show it very often.

highly overated. don't get me wrong, I like the guy, but he uses way too many effects.

I ought to give him two ratings - a 5- for his days in Rage (a band that I never got into) and a 10 for his new band, Audioslave. I dropped a heavy book on my toe the first time I heard the guitar at the beginning of Cochise. He hasn't had the long-term effectiveness of the widely known greats, but I think that if he keeps playing, he's going to go down as one of the best ever. This man can do things with a guitar that no human should be able to. Morello must have fingers of steel. There's a reason that Guitar World magazine placed him as high as they did in their list, which I know a lot of guitar snobs were very angry about. all of those sounds that you hear on those records are one man with a Soul Power guitar. Jesus Christ.
