10/09/2004 | I think Eminem is controversial simply to be controversial. If you've ever listened to one of his more politically-themed songs, it's pretty clear that he knows very little about what he's talking about. I doubt he feels strongly about his own ideas if he didn't take the time to learn about them. Bottom line: the man's in it for the money, just like everyone else.

11/10/2003 | If I said that controversy doesn't linger around this man like a bad odor then I'd be a liar. The media loves to blame this guy for violence. The media always needs someone to blame for the problems of the people.
It seems normal to find a solution to a growing problem. Unfortunatly, this solution includes removing Eminem from the entertainment business and if that were to happen in any shape or form then you'd have a lot of pissed off fans to deal with.

08/22/2003 | eminem has stirred up a great deal of controversy since he has hit it big. he has sparked the boycott of many concerned parent for his lyrics of gay bashing, abusing and killing women, and sex and drugs. Politicians have also spoke out about his integrity and his impact on the people who listen to his music. he has been band from playing in many areas and held responsible for teens being violent, which makes him a very controversial icon.

08/12/2003 | Why is it that everybody loves to praise Eminem so much? He has an entirely one-track mind as far as his songwriting goes, and it's not particularly good either. It mystifies me why people fall at the feet of a man who beats his wife and raps about raping his mother, and when Kurt Cobain or Eddie Vedder treat women kindly and sing (much better) lyrics about love and confusion, all of a sudden they are whining. Would someone care to explain this one to me?
