Kobe's job is a professional basketball player and he is one of the best. He has won a few championships and provides entertainment to the fans and therefore is succesful at what he does. When he signed his contract with the Lakers he never signed anything that said he has to be a role model to joe public. He should be viewed as an NBA player and nothing else.
