 | wendmel (0) 09/13/2007 | I own a 1996 Sentra and it has never given me any problems. I drive this car like I stole it and the fuel consumption is still great. I like this car but it has a few more rattles than I care for.

 | pip_squeak (0) 07/09/2005 | As the only Japanese compact that hasn't undergone a major redesign since the beginning of the decade, the Sentra looks like Nissan's Chevrolet Cavalier: an older design competing with newer models from its competitors. That being said, despite the current Sentra getting long in the tooth I would purchase one over a Cavalier (or Cobalt) anyday. My sister's 2003 Sentra accelerates and brakes well. The interior is nice and the car feels bigger than it really is. It also costs less than a Civic or Corolla.

 | eraser1997 (1) 06/28/2004 | The Sentra's an ok car, but nothing spectacular, IMO. Pretty good reliability, but only mediocre driving dynamics and mediocre pricing. Worth considering, but not an overwhelming vehicle.
