As a child, this show offered me a glimmering portal into the neon tinted lifestyles of a group of affluent LA teenagers and their hijinx filled lives. To really appreciate how exciting I found this to watch, you have to imagine yourself being a lonely child growing up in a grey John Major era Britain. Before you were old enough to savagely analyze the show for its stereotyped characters and groan-worthy puns, this show was great colorful escapism.Recently, I found a box set for this show nestled at the bottom of a bargain bin. Watching it again was fun, as this time around I could appreciate how there was quite a bit of metafictional humor tucked away in there. The show never takes itself too seriously, and it isn't shy about poking fun at its own continuity errors. If nothing else, this show gave us Dustin Diamond, and that alone justifies its existence. Whether he's making ill-advised sex-tapes with brides to be or getting into fights with Danny Bonaduce on Celebrity Wrestling, he's easily one of the most interesting former child stars, trying whatever he can to escape the specter of the squeaky voiced Screech.

I loved this show when I was a kid, I watched all the way up to the college years embarrasingly enough. Good and clean with lessons on morals, better than the crap my daughter has to choose from on disney. Cheesy but fun

Not exactly a favorite of mine, but pretty pleasant to watch once in a while. I remember that it was able to touch on the problems of high school students without getting downright dirty, and not a word of bad language to its name -- making it completely guilt-free. I remember this from when I was younger (identifying with the characters because they were about my age), but I highly recommend the reruns for today's kids, as well. It sure beats the recent garbage they've been passing off as entertainment.

I like this show when I was little.

The scenery was the only thing that made me sit through this awful, scum sucking excuse for a TV show on the rare occasions when I did tune in.

I actually loved this show, especially that gorgeously sexy Kelly. And check out that lovable scScreech on The Celebrity Fit Club.

Another TV show from my childhood. Love the episode when Zack and Lisa got drunk and crashed Lisa's mother's car. Love more episodes but there are too many to name. Long story short, this is definitely a memorable show.

No way! I loved Saved by the Bell. It was one of those really rare, clean teen TV shows. It never talked about sex or anything like that, althought they dealt with real teen topics. It was funny too.

I also hate Saved by The Bell. I only saw it because I had a daughter who watched it. It was a lousy show filled with stereotypes. As usual the cute kids got away with murder and were popular. anyone who was smart was a spaz. or geeky. the adults were clueless idiots. Yes, it was aimed at kids. but I have seen way better shows for young people than this one.
