Only a certified psychopath would called his mistress at his wife's vigil.

his calm coldness during those trials. no reaction when details were told. he had more than 15 minutes of fame his name and face were all over the place for quite awhile.

A nice guy who got played as a sucker for a police department desperate for a result after all too many failures to either charge someone for a crime or to get them convicted once charged. To this day no one can point to any valid evidence of guilt against him, evidence that goes to guilt and is incapable of innocent explanation. Given the mountain of evidence that goes to his innocence, this case may wind up being one of the most important ever, like Gideon or Miranda.

Only in America does somebody attain the status of "celebrity" by killing their spouse.

The way things are nowadays, it wouldn't surprise me if he got his own talk show, with O.J. Simpson and Robert Blake as his first guest. Belive it or not, someone would watch!

His 15 minutes would seem to be over now, as people have profited from writing tell-all books about their relationship with him, and a cheesy TV-movie has been produced and aired. In what other ways can this story be milked? He hasn't written his own self-serving autobiography yet, but don't worry...that's assuredly coming soon. Then what? One could say the next flare-up of publicity will occur when they execute him, but that will never happen.

I'm not sure there's a rating suitable for this guy. If anything, he should be put on Satan's, not Santa's bad list.

Cold blooded murderous monster who deserves to get the death penalty! He should be dumped hundreds of feet from a hang glider or nailed to a tree and left for the crows and vultures!

There's no question that Scott Peterson is having his 15 minutes of fame right now, but I'm not so sure of his guilt. At first I knew he was guilty and was going to jail. Then as time passed on and I saw all the flaws in the prosecutions case, I became skeptical. Now Garagos is showing bigger holes in the prosecutions case than I first thought, so now I don't know whether Scott's guilty or innocent!!

Throw the switch, fry the bastard and leave it alone. It's bad enough thinking about what he did but do we really have to keep talking about it??

Who cares? I know this guy is a bad guy, but murders happen every single day in this country. So why are we so focused on this one? Whether this guy is guilty or not has NO effect whatsoever on anything effecting my life. It has no effect on the economy, Iraq, nothing.

I honestly do not know if Scott Peterson is guilty or not, I would have to see ALL the eveidence, and just FYI. San Diego is 15 miles away from the Mexican border, so when the press said that he was 15 miles away, they just said it that way to make him look bad. Who I feel bad for is the woman he had an affair with. As I understand it she didn't have any idea he was married, and she never asked, until all this came up.

daily rapings and beatings in prison won't bring back his wife or unborn child, but it's a start.

There's no doubt that this guy is a jerk with a capital J. Not only was he running around with skanky Amber Frey, he apparently chased other women throughout his marriage. Yet so far all we have seen is circumstantial evidence. The prosecution may have a lot more up their sleeve, but unless they have some concrete, physical evidence there is a possibility that Scott Peterson could get off.

Is entitled to a fair trial. This used to be one of those inalienable rights ...didn't it? It's funny that the people who scream the loudest about the bill of rights, the constitution and it's amendments, etc., etc., are the first to deny someone fair access to them. On second thought, it's not funny...it's sad.

Deserves to be carried through the streets while being beaten. If he dosent get the death penalty, I really hope the guys in jail will kill him. He deserves to die painfully.

No, we can't be sure about his guilt quite yet (other than our own gut feelings), but nevertheless, I get the feeling that I'm going to be seeing this case on "Forensic Files" a few years from now. At the very least, he's a prick for cheating on his pregnant wife. It's terrible what happened to Laci and the child, and I hope when they do find out for sure who did it, that he'll be punished for BOTH murders.

I had the feeling that he was somehow involved in Laci's disappearance and murder. There is just something so creepy about him. Admitting he had an affair, trying to sell her house and car, dyeing his hair and trying to flee the country, this man is GUILTY! I hope the loser gets the death penalty.

I was almost certain that he had something to do with it. I didn't even know that he had been having an affair until after they had found poor Lacy's body along with the infant child, and I still felt that he had something to do with her disapearance. I feel for the members of Lacy's family. If he doesn't get the death penalty (which I am certain will happen), I hope that he at least spends the rest of his life in prison to think about what he did to her and their child.

Looks pretty suspicious to me. Scott's alibi is that he was fishing on the day that his pregnant wife's body would up in the bay? And that he happened to be having an affair at the same time? I'm not sure that even Johnny Cochran could help at this point.
