 | CreativeJen (0) 11/29/2007 | In response to the post that says "why do this gross procedure if you can do it with diet and exercise" obviously didnt read the other ones that explain it is for people who are a healthy weight but have fat deposits that refuse to go away unless you weigh a very unhealthy low weight! I don't think that if you are that uneven in body shape, that is is such a bad thing to do. You only live once, why not do it happy with a normal shape?!?!?!.. and only doing it if you are over 400 pounds makes no sense at all... challenges what the surgeons say are perfect canidates..

 | Tweazer (11) 04/29/2005 | This procedure was never intended for obese people. This is only supposed to be done to remove the small deposits of fat that one can't get rid of with diet and exercise. Over the past 4 years I've lost almost 50 pounds, but there are some fatty places that just won't go away. I'd love to have it done if I could afford it.

 | LadyShark4534 (12) 09/10/2003 | Only should be done if you are over 400 pounds!

 | CastleBee (81) 08/14/2003 | Oh, YUCK! I would never resort to this gross procedure. I'm willing to bet most cases of this are the result of someone having more money than brains. I mean - why have potentially dangerous surgery for something you can do naturally with diet and exercise?
