DISAPPOINTED! In attempt to permanently avoid razor burn on my bikini line and armpits, I started doing laser hair removal. I have done 11 treatments now (and they're NOT CHEAP!), and I've had minimal results. I hear it is successful for some people, but it hasn't been for me at all! You have to wait 6-8 weeks between treatments, and avoid getting a suntan in the areas being treated. AND it doesn't feel fantastic either. Waste of money.

I first tried laser hair removal eight years ago; I have done everything by the book (under the guidance of a physician), and I still have excessive hair growth. It really isn't worth the time or the money. I had an epiphany on my first visit to a new laser hair removal clinic last year. They told me they could "fix me"..that got me thinking...there really isn't anything wrong, abnormal, or particularly ugly about facial hair on women. The only thing wrong with it is having to endure ridicule from others. I think that we as female consumers have been duped into thinking that we must be hairless to be attractive, so we will spend large amounts of money that we wouldn't normally spend to achieve this - someone is getting rich over our perceived imperfections and insecurities.

I wouldn't mind getting this done, but the best bet is to pay a person who knows what they're doing.

I'd call it worthwhile.

i think laser hair removal is just fine, it would bring out the best of your skin especially on areas, where too much hair is needed..like for women..underarm hair is a real no no! you'd get underarm odor especially if you sweat! so laser hair removal works for this, also with bikini lines

I don't think people with facial hair are ugly. For example, There was a girl named Alma Geodes in my school and she had a very hairy upper lip, but she looked just fine to me. I think people should not radically change themselves.
