SNL died when the original cast was canned. Ackroyd and Curtain played off each other very well, particularly their hilarious point/counterpoint sessions.

Dan Aykroyd is one of the most Underrated talents in the industry. Besides being an excellent actor and comedian, he is a brilliant writer. Jane Curtain also deserves more credit than she gets.

These two weren't funny then and are not now. Both of these folks are highly overrated for their entire careers. I find neither of them funny at all.

I'd forgotten just how good they were. They were unique in that they did it more as a weekly sketch, taking on distinct characters as the news anchors.

This one is a classic. Jane Curtain and Aykroyd worked so well together- they had such great chemistry together. Jane, you ignorant slut!

I see a couple of people have beaten me to it, but when he says Jane, you ignorant slut it just kills me. No one else has ever come close to doing to news like these two.
