Bill Cullen was one of the early game show hosts that I remember. He did the first version of "The Price Is Right" and later the "$25,000 Pyramid". He also had other game shows of less significance.

Bill was a charming, gently funny man who always made the game show viewing experience an enjoyable one.

Back in the 60's, I knew a new game was bound for failure if this guy hosted. Can't put a finger on WHY he was lousy, he just was lousy.

He did so many game shows between the 50s and the 80s, even ones that bombed. He did this despite being a polio survivor.
