This is a classic case of the politician who can imagine doing nothing else. Before the election, he was willing to take any stand that would help him get elected. After the election, he sank his teeth into the prize and refused to let go. People complained about Gore holding out for a few weeks, but Coleman is still going strong almost six months after the election. Despite every court hearing having gone against him, Coleman keeps holding press conferences promising eventual victory. He's said that he may appeal a June hearing that is supposed to be the final verdict on the issue. Sorry, man, somebody has to lose, and in this case you're it. Time to be a man and admit defeat.

I hope you win and that poor excuse for a comedian crawls back under his rock.

When I consider the prospect that in November 2008 Minnesota voters could replace Norm with Al Franken, I can't help but see the humor in it. Norm changed his voting pattern a wee bit too late, and voters are seeing right through it.

If Norm Coleman actually runs - like diarrhea - he'll be soundly defeated. He's a stereotypical Republican and probably one of the best minds of the 16th century, so, speaking as a proud liberal Democrat - I hope he stays in pubic orifice forever. Everytime a putz like Coleman gets his butt kicked by an English member of Parliament, (Google George Galloway) in HIS OWN HEARING ROOM, he makes OUR SIDE look way, WAY better!

He is an up and comer. What will be great is the Coleman re-election campaign with Al Franken as the Demo candidate!

When I write my senator, I want him to respond by saying "I hear what you're saying and although I might not agree, I'll do my duty as your representative and bring your voice to Washington with me". Instead, the replies I get from Norm Coleman are long winded, self promoting responses that highlight his legislature and his leadership. I think he thinks of himself as a leader instead of a representative, that is the Republican way after all. I will say, however, that I do appreciate his anti-war stance as of late. Maybe there's still some Democrat left in him.

What a two faced jerk! He was elected because he was very popular as the Mayor of St. Paul who built a hockey arena and got a pro team back in Minnesota. He also used to be a democrat, but changed coats when he saw the Republicans getting a lot of power. Does nothing for us back here in Minnesota, but backs any initiative from the White House.
