She's not utterly and completely HORRIBLE, which is actually a pretty good rating - for a Republican.

Susan Collins is a wonderful represenative of the Great State of Maine. She care's deeply about her fellow Mainers and has always strived to bring us the best legeslation possable. Thank you senator Collins for helping keep Aroostook County pristine

Another Rino, Zell Miller is more Republican than her. Another word to describe her is demogog.

Probably one of the very few republican senators I like, she respects all points of view. She will be missed in 2008.

She should just become a democrat. She comes across has a nice person.

She is an influential moderate. That is getting more rare in the GOP ranks.

Not really a member of the GOP-seems like what a republican was 50 years ago. Should transfer to the Demos-which she is more in tune.

I'm one Mainer who doesn't care for Collins all that much. She continually turns down any increase in the minimum wage (check her record) and is more concerned about small business than diminishing worker's rights and the needy. She does deserve credit for opposing many of Bush's budget proposals to privatize Social Security and along with Maine senator Snowe, she pared down his enormous tax cut years ago that has primarily benefited the wealthy.

Susan Collins is smart as a whip, not afraid to take an independent stance and seems to do a good job for Maine.

i also speak as a democrat in saying that she respects the beliefs of everyone, while supporting what is best for her state, regardless of whether or not it's on the republican agenda. maine is smart in electing two great senators.

As a Democrat, I think she has great integrity and character. Stands for her people's values and doesn't let anyone push her around. OK, she is cute too.
