(knock, knock)....Bing: 'Damn, I didn't think David Bowie would find me at my mother in law's house. Look, just tell him I went home...--no, don't open the door.'

This song takes me back to being in a childhood apartment, it is very symbolic and sings of the special things that we do on our own, that pay homage in a different way, with out spending and stressing about what or how to honor a person. Which of course we certainly try, but what Christmas is inspiring is good will toward mankind and a sense of happiness that again our Savior is born.

Great song, not a lot of good versions. If you really want to hear a great rendition on this song, listen to David Bowie and Bing Crosbie. I know, wierd combo, but they make a great christmas song!

This is one of my all time favorites. I like the Ray Charles version and the one by the Vienna Boys Choir.

Help! Every time I hear this come on, Martha has to run to get the Pepto and other remedies. This song makes me retch!

The beat of this song, how it's arranged and sung is just beautiful. My favorite is the one by Bing Crosby and David Bowie.

Another great song about the First Christmas. My favorite versions are the ones sung by Bob Seiger and Lonestar.

I love the traditional choral arrangement.
