 | Wakataka (0) 02/22/2005 | This man is a bass god. I have noticed that Justin Chancellor of Tool fame sounds very similar to much of Jeff's work. Pearl Jam is one of the best bands of all time. People can listen to their songs which cover wide genres simply for the sound, and if they wish to delve deeper then they can find deep meanings and some decent theory. He's great.

 | TheFreak (3) 09/17/2003 | You who gave Jeff Ament one star knows not what a bass guitar is and has no remote clue how to play it. I can't believe any music fan would give the man who not only played, but WROTE, the famed Jeremy bassline a less-than-average rating. He's a wild, energetic performer (with an awesome vertical leap), he's one hell of a bass player, and has written some of his band's best songs (i.e., Jeremy, Nothingman, Low Light). Plus, you gotta love that Wishlist bass.
