an excellent movie that deals with emotion, social problems, and the strive to survive and succeed. Sacrifices are made; and in the end, as it is not always the case, a mother's love is stronger than any other feeling.

Such a sweet movie. And funny at the times when it needs to be. Think this is one of the best movies ever made.

If you ever watch one gay themed movie... WATCH THIS ONE. It is moving, down-to-earth and incredibly acted. The Mama Cass soundtrack works marvelously. This two leads are great to watch. It takes one back to a time, when things were innocent.

Arguably the best gay themed movie ever made.

One of my favorite all-time gay themed movies. Sweet and unassuming. This coming-of-age story of two working class teens from London's East End council flats is believable and touching. It never preaches and doesn't grasp at gay cliches. The acting is first-rate from all the leads and the Mama Cass soundtrack is perfect. Consistently makes the top of the list of gay men's favorite movies and I can understand why. Very believable. Touching and lyrical.

A really boring coming of age gay flick about to British guys that finally fall in love with each other after alot of denial and parent involvement. Very annoying cast, and I hated the neighbor girl who was always butting into everything.
