Chris Dodd is probably one of the biggest douchebags in congress, and that is saying a lot.  As Louie pointed out below, Dodd received preferential treatment from Countrywide w/mortgage rates in the midst of a housing/mortgage crisis.  The guy is a complete disgrace, plus he's the Chairman of Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs in the Senate. But nobody wanted to cover this.  His daddy was a senator too---long live, nepotism.  Dodd also voted to authorize the Iraq war, and acts like he didn't.

It would be nice if you would vote for Dodd, Jemaho, since hosebag Joe Lieberman stiffed the voters of Connecticut by doing the political version of cross-dressing.  I want to see someone take down that bitch of a man.

Connecticut's 'other Senator' and its best by far. Truly a smart man, whose only fault has been he never lived up to his potential of being a 'national figure'.

Truly works hard in Washington and here in Connecticut- A 'Pragmatic Liberal' and not ashamed of it- he has been a crusader in helping reign in corporate excess, while helping the working class,underclass and elderly all his career. A leader who puts his constituents above his own interests (the opposite of Joe Lieberman)

Integrity with a cap I- cares about people and not greedy profit oriented corporations- under rated-bright articulate and empathetic.

He had potential--has not done much. He has been a disappoitment to the Democrats.

As was the case with Robert Byrd I am glad to see that there are people willing to forgive Senator Dodd for his alcohol / sexual indiscretion because it took place over two decades ago. In order to avoid the label of hypocrite the only conclusion one can reach is that these same people are also willing to forgive and forget George Bush's indiscretions with alcohol because, like Senator Dodd, they took place over two decades ago. I'm overwhelmed with the forgiving spirit which has been gracing the pages of RIA recently.

Any Senator who works hard to protect the rights of children and women as well as the envirionment deserves respect. The incident with Kennedy took place two or more decades ago.

Any senator who goes out and gets drunk with Ted Kennedy, and makes waitress sandwiches with poor women serving food to make a living, is no one that deserves respect.
