If Dodd was a Republican he would be on trial right now for his shady dealings with Country Wide.
(OM)There is no such thing as a pragmatic liberal. When will the next "big-dig" start?

 | Wiseguy (52) 02/01/2008 | Hillary and Obama got all the attention in the media, including all the questions at the debates. All Chris could do is stand there like a house on the side of the road. Too bad, the guy had some ideas, and years of experience, but who's counting...

 | SchadenfreudianSlip (18) 05/01/2007 | It would be nice if you would vote for Dodd, Jemaho, since hosebag Joe Lieberman stiffed the voters of Connecticut by doing the political version of cross-dressing. I want to see someone take down that bitch of a man.

 | subaru7 (2) 08/14/2006 | Connecticut's 'other Senator' and its best by far. Truly a smart man, whose only fault has been he never lived up to his potential of being a 'national figure'.
Truly works hard in Washington and here in Connecticut- A 'Pragmatic Liberal' and not ashamed of it- he has been a crusader in helping reign in corporate excess, while helping the working class, underclass and elderly all his career. A leader who puts his constituents above his own interests (the opposite of Joe Lieberman)
A loyal Democrat for the people here in Connecticut, with integrity class and boundless energy.

 | Flick01 (72) 02/05/2005 | As was the case with Robert Byrd I am glad to see that there are people willing to forgive Senator Dodd for his alcohol / sexual indiscretion because it took place over two decades ago. In order to avoid the label of hypocrite the only conclusion one can reach is that these same people are also willing to forgive and forget George Bush's indiscretions with alcohol because, like Senator Dodd, they took place over two decades ago. I'm overwhelmed with the forgiving spirit which has been gracing the pages of RIA recently.

 | Tauceti (0) 02/05/2005 | Any Senator who works hard to protect the rights of children and women as well as the envirionment deserves respect. The incident with Kennedy took place two or more decades ago.

 | sooyiban (0) 04/13/2004 | Any senator who goes out and gets drunk with Ted Kennedy, and makes waitress sandwiches with poor women serving food to make a living, is no one that deserves respect.
