i was going to give him a higher rating until i voted against it.
GenghisTheHun 04/20/2007
What more needs be said? A two rating suffices.
LowJack 04/20/2007
Prob a better then average senator, definiately a war hero and a man of conviction, don't need him running another half-ass Pres. race though
caphillsea77 01/28/2007
Hopefully my home state will find a competitive more dignified candiate for senate in the 2008 election. Senator Kerry has been an embarrasment that has inserted foot in mouth one too many times.
holter61 01/17/2007
Who has to wind him up everyday?
dataguy 12/22/2006
Pompous jerk.
RIAUSA 10/02/2006
He has well served his country and was attacked by anti-American neo-cons. He has strong defense policies and is a moderate Democrat, not a liberal like his communist friend, Sen. Ted Kennedy.
williamb 04/17/2006
We all recognize that George W. isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer, but Kerry couldn't come up with one original plan or thought to beat Bush in the election! Give me a break!
abichara 11/18/2005
Kerry offers nothing original or even significant to the national debate. What hinders his national career is his inability to convey a focused message. When he speaks, it seems as if his thoughts just meander along, never making a point. He goes off on a lot of tangents. It makes him very difficult to listen to. Successful campaigners have a crisp message that is easily understood.

Out of the politicians in the Skull&Bones/Yale/lifelong millionaire/born into politics/blue-blood bracket, he's alright (and the I'd go with). He has a very fake 'politician' manner and attitude, though thinking about it I'd say it's actually much less fake than that of the only other politician I know of in the above-mentioned bracket, considering their mutual background.
mfgnet 10/31/2005
Man, look at the ratings for this guy! George Bush must of hacked into this site or something and changed the results!
JackCox 10/25/2005
John Kerry has hand to stand up to Garbage and baseless attacks by the Reich Wing. The Republicans are masters of this. Kerry has done more for this country then the republicans have. I still think Kerry is a good senator, he just was not the right candidate for the 2004 presidential election.
Chalky 08/31/2005
this guy is the biggest douche and I voted for him too. ugggh I hate politics. the guy spent 99% of his time campaigning in states Gore won; how can you win an election??? I am totally 100% against the Iraq war and this guy in my mind has absoulutely no right to criticize it simply for the fact that he voted for it and ultimately shares some responsibility. Kerry is a complete hypocrite. cya in hell ;) He's a D- at best

Flip Flopper and a Gold Digger..... Enough said
byzantinechild 08/02/2005
How can someone boast a military career? He spent more time protesting than fighting. He acts all religious and patriotic. Yet has Marxist politics and doesn't want prayer in public schools and supports all that liberal garbage.
sivits403 07/08/2005
I don't trust ANY politician who doesn't trust ME, or any other honest, law-abiding citizen to own an assault-type rifle, or high capacity magazines to feed it. And anyone who says they believe that life begins at conception, but still thinks it's ok to kill off the unborn, is a freakin' idiot, and someone who just looks the other way while evil continues to flourish.
rubberband 02/25/2005
I don't think and person who talks about a country as he did and then turn around and wants to be the leader of that country is crazy. How could people even trust this man to love his job and do his best. He hated this country now he proud and wants it for himself. The ultimate Flip-Flop (Libs have no shame). I am from OHIO and I am proud of what they have done. Alright buckeyes showem what you got....anyway, Bush and Kerry plan this...okay
Cobra 02/13/2005
A lying flip-flopper. He is a trator and should have been tried for treason for the Vietnam scandals.
ilovekiran 02/01/2005
Funny how someone with 40 some milion votes for pre. ranks 99th as a Senator.validates the anybody but Bush theory.
hermangwynn 01/30/2005
won't release his miltary records because they would show he has no sharpnel in his body and in all liklyhood was dishonorable discharged. Should have been shot as a traitor along with Jane Fonda in the 70's.
pjplace197 01/18/2005
Why the long face?
WannabeCowboy 11/28/2004
An incredible hypocrite! The worst senator in recent history re: supporting our military. He waffles so much, he could debate himself!
EschewObfuscat ion 11/16/2004
Well, the list is US Senator, and Kerry rates a weak 2 due to his ridiculously liberal, anti-military, pro-left-wing voting record which he tried desperately to outrun (with some surprising success) in his run for the US Presidency. His has been a very un-spectacular Senate career, notable for its general lack of notability, unless you believe that every liberal left-wing program is what's best for the country because that is how John Kerry 's voting record reads. His vote against the Gulf War, in 1991, is the one vote that resonates with many people born after 1975.
johnstacey 11/16/2004
What a loss....go figure, the guy that got his clock cleaned in all 3 debates is still prsident..only in Bizarro world. Kerry is a true statesman, something America has forgotten, now it is all about NASCAR, Thomas Kinkade paintings and pork rinds.
cisco1127 06/16/2004
Being from Mass I wish we had a senator who could make it to a vote. What are we paying this guy for.I guess he's not drunk anyway like our other senator
Redoedo 04/14/2004
John Kerry's record as a United States senator is quite lackluster and may do him more harm than good as he runs for President. He has had a consistantly liberal voting record that doesn't really reflect the values of the entire country. His record on defense and security is notoriously weak, as he has voted against every major weapon system that has been used to help the United States fight the War on Terrorism. He stood on the floor of the United States senate and spoke for nearly an hour on how Saddam Hussein posed a threat to the United States, and he voted for the resolution that gave President Bush full authority to launch a military campaign against Iraq. Eight months later, he criticizes Bush for using the authority that Kerry himself voted to give him. Kerry can say that he voted for the resolution with the understanding that the President would exhaust every option before going to war, but the bottom line is that Kerry assisted in giving Bush a blank check. Then recently, Kerry voted against the $87 billion to fund the occupation and reconstruction of Iraq. He wanted an amendment that would've taken the costs of that supplementary plan and deducted him from Bush's tax cut. That amendment failed, and Kerry voted against the bill. While Kerry was certainly in the right to demand that the $87 billion be paid for and not tacked on to the debt, he of all people, as a former soldier, should understand that partisan debate over fiscal policy should not take precedent over vital funding for our troops that are engaged in a costly and bloody war in Iraq. All in all, Kerry's entire Senate career has consisted mainly of voting for something that is popular at the time, but immediately criticizing that policy when things turn sour.
Cary Zaputz 04/09/2004
To be rated as a senator, does one not have to SERVE as a senator and show up for votes occasionally? Using that definition, Kerry is no senator. Interesting that he won't give up his senate seat as he runs for President. He must know he's not going to win in November.
Mr. Republican 08/18/2003
He is too liberal and talks of a regime change. He is a disgrace to the Senate
