I found Lugar to be wishy-washy, which is why I voted Libertarian last time instead of Lugar.

Richard Lugar is a sharp guy. I haven't agreed with him on everything, but he has earned my respect. He is conservative, but he is not afraid to stand up to the Bush administration or any other. He is not in the inner circle of Bush administration toadies, but he is in the winner's circle of public opinion in Indiana.
