An even bigger waste of space than the average politician. I think congress has better things to worry about than professional sports.

Unimpressive career pol. Established a name with the ludicrous single bullet theory  when he was council to the Warren Commission and hasn't exactly gone uphill since.

And for crying out loud, will someone buy this guy an issue!  Seems to be pissed off he missed out on the TV coverage some of his colleagues got "investigating" steriods in baseball, and has latched onto the "Spygate" hogwash, today demanding an independent inquiry.

For God's sake Arlen, you're a United States Senator.  Don't you have anything better to do with your time?

One of the few good Republicans.

He's exactly what we need: a person standing up for traditional ideals, but not going overboard.

A real republican (unlike anti-choice zealots who claim the same) who is a bulldog that will take on anyone- I love a politician who isn't a party lapdog. Do I agree with everything he's done? No way. But he isn't afraid of dogma and will listen to both sides of the argument. . .something clearly lost on his contemporaries and more than a few voters.

A moderate Republican? I wasn't sure they still existed!

He is an old warhorse who is showing tremendous courage now with his cancer treatment. He has gained new power by being chairman of the Judiciary Committee.

A moderate politician, he stands strong on health care and education.
