 | daedalus (33) 11/16/2006 | I love this section of the paper and have even contributed a few times. It is dominated by political opinions and they are typically very passionate, but not always very well thought out. Of course you are usually limited to a couple hundred words so it can be difficult to make a point in such a short time.
It is especially fun to watch conservative writers submit letters in liberal towns and vice-versa (I have lived in both). The abject misery some of these people express through their letters gives some insight into how others see the world but without going through the hassle of actually having to meet them.

 | ALBERTCOMA (0) 06/11/2004 | While I believe having your own opinion is great. But,! in the newspapers opinions being printed is like mind control. People
tend to beleive alot of what they read, hear or see on tv. So, newspapers should only print the news.

 | kamylienne (77) 09/14/2003 | Typically interesting to read--that's probably why I come on Rate-It-All so often, this is one big ol' opinion page . . . .

 | abichara (60) 09/14/2003 | It's always interesting to see people's views on the news and events. A good place to bounce off different ideas. The presence of the opinion page also allows those in power to gauge support for their policies etc...
