The only way a Celica would beat anything would be to get an engine swap to the JDM 3S-GTE engine and completly redo the internals just to handle a little bit of boost. To guroipedo5, that celica must have been racing a V-6 stang to win. and besides, v6 mustangs suck because they are so heavy so its not saying much to beat it. Also, 0 legroom inside the new model Celicas. BUT....theres always an exception to any rule and if you rewind one generation back, to the Celicas with the dual circular headlights, those were some NICE cars. I know that they werent incredibly powerful but with some exterior modification, that Celica would really start to look good. I would love to get my hands on a Celica from that body style period and see what I could do. But thats just me.
