Too heavy but perhaps that was because I was moved by it, coming so soon after having lost a friend.

I really didn't expect to like this film, but ended up quite moved by it.

Okay, this is a good but wildly overrated film. Hanks got P.C. brownie points for coughing and dying in the courtroom. (I thought the scene was laughable) Denzel has at least three films with better performances (Glory, A Soldier's Story, Hurricane) Don't get me wrong, this was a very strong and effective film- but it is not great by any stretch of the imagination. Waaaay too predictable. ..

In general not a bad movie.. but the two leads were not very believable as lovers. Definitely geared to a general audience as opposed to a gay audience.

By far one of the most moving and touching gay themed movies of all time. Tom Hanks did an excellent job in this movie. I wished they would have given Antonio Banderas more of a part in this movie than they did however. EXCELLENT ! It is always a good movie to play for people who like to play around alot. Sometimes sex isnt worth some of the stuff it comes with.
