If I could rate this company a Zero I would have. Now I am not like others, and had problems with my claims..I had not even filed a claim yet..I was calling the company to get some information about my "Bumper to Bumper warranty"..Only to find out all numbers were Disconnected. No one would reply to any of my emails. I did some research to find out what was going on with this company. Only to find out I have been Duke by these people. I just purchased this warranty in March 09 so I had not used it. So Not only did this company deduct money from my account for a warranty, and kept deducting every month I have not even used yet. Now they have my money and I have NO warranty. I have also contacted the BBB on them and I am in the process of finding a lawyer and writting the Attorney General on this company. . The bad part about all this is I thought I was saving myself some money with this A+ company who has been in years for 15+ years. To only find out..All the way from another State I ha... Read more

I would give this company "0" stars, but the website makes me put in one star. I put in a claim for the first time ever since owning this warranty (2006). I called on 1/16/10 and for a week they have disconnected their phones. No email responses, I sent a fax, and certified letter. NOTHING, in the way of a response. I have two warranties with them (I just purchased the second in September 2009), over $4000 purchased and I have yet to receive service. I'm in the process of going through my credit card company which I used for payment, to try and get a refund of both warranties. I have read other posts and realize that these people are CHEATS and Thieves! Those that had good experiences, consist of a small minority when you consider the ratings of this website, and the Cleveland BBB. And for those individuals who had a positive experience, try putting in a claim, or if you're vehicle is running fine, just give them a call, to say hi:) 1800-645-5040, at that point, you may chan... Find another insurance, they only want to paid for USED parts. They told me that they are not going to give their credit card to the shops because "they give it to everybody" so that i would have to paid and send the receipt for a refund. I send it on Dec and at this time they disconect the phone. So I guess they are closed and run with our money. Next time i would save the money from the extended warranty ($1300) and paid for the repairs.

Stay Away From This Company - Nothing but a bunch of cheats! I bought the warranty from this company because I trust people from my home town of Cleveland. They're wonderful when you're signing up with them, but not after they have your money. You can not trust these people! I inherited my mothers 1995 Lincoln T/C. My mom bought it used in 1997. After having the car for @ two years the transmission started to slip. I took it to my favorite shop in Delray Beach, FL - Firestone. They do a great job! They told me they don't do transmissions, but referred me to someone very reputable. Firestone, Aherns Transmission and this warranty companies own inspector told them I shouldn't change the transmission fluid it would only make it worse. Auto Repair Warr. said "do it" or they would not cover the new transmission unless this was tried first; for $191.00. Sure enough it only made the transmission worse. I took the car back in but Auto Repair Warr. would not help with the cost beca... Read more

I have an extended service contract purchased in June 07 ($1800) with coverage provided for 48 months/60k miles. In Dec 09 my car had steering challenges and so I took it too a repair shop authorized by Auto Repair Warranty. After the shop's diagnostics, they called Auto Repair Warranty and were verbally accosted by Paul for a variety of reasons - cost, estimate, parts. Paul then called me and wanted me to take the car to a different shop. And in subsequent conversations with Paul he chose to yell at me about my concerns. Talk about customer service! After the repair shop was flexible enough to accomodate Paul's rants, and the service performed, both I and the repair shop were informed by Paul that Auto Repair Warranty's credit card information had been stolen and so they could not pay for the repairs. I was to pay for the repairs and would be reimbursed. It is now weeks later, and Auto Repair Warranty has stopped answering their phones. I encourage you to look to a reputable ... Read more

Auto Repair Group does not offer a bumper-to-bumper warranty. Ask them why they call it bumper to bumper and they will tell you that is just what we call it. The parts that are covered are listed and it is not bumper-to-bumper. Pay close attention to the verbiage in the contract because when you file a claim you will need this to argue with the claim department. We bought this warranty coverage in 2006 and have had nothing but bad service. They will refuse to cover parts, take up to 3-5 days to pay the auto repair shop, and their claim department is extremely rude. They also do not give you a rental vehicle if a repair takes more than 8 hours. The rental is if the physical repair to the vehicle take 8 hours, not how long it is in the shop. Because this warranty is not bumper to bumper you will have to fight for every claim. Sometimes weeks, then they finally say okay we will comprise and cover this part but you have to pay for this item. Often times the part I am responsible to pay for... Read more

Worst extended warranty company I have ever dealt with. Very nice and friendly when you are buying the product, but forget friendly when you have aclaim. And they don't cover hardly anything. Bumper to Bumper my butt! I paid $1399 for an extra 4 years of coverage, and they won't cover power door locks?! They conveniently don't list what isn't covered. And you can't get a refund from them unless you do it in the first 30 days, even if you have never used the coverage. THEY ARE THIEVES!

DON'T BUY THEIR AUTO REPAIR WARRANTY!!!!! On their web site under "about us" they promote that they will pay a claim directly to the repair facility. NOT... Before my car even had any work done Auto Repair Warranty LLC. had to send an inspector out to verify that I truly did need my transmission fixed. They never delt with the repair facility directly never returned any of their calls. In all the car set at the repair facility for a week before the work could be started. Auto Repair Warranty said that they would provide a rebuilt transmission for much lower price than my repair facility was going to charge (that's ok but I had no idea where this transmission was coming from or where it had been setting) or that they would pay for the lower amount and I would pay the difference. I took this option because I new that my transmission was being rebuilt and that my repair facility would provide me an additional 50K 3 year warranty on it. Thinking that they would honor my opening sent... Read more

I was told that the policy covers computer parts, controls, etc. I unfortunately bought this "insurance" for more than one vehicle. After 2 months I had a claim on a vehicle. I called the number as instructed and the gentleman was very cordial. He told me to take it to the repair garage - have them diagnose the problem and contact ARG back. At this point I thought I had made a good decision with this company. The next day I received a call from the mechanic and he told me the problem. The part that went bad was a computer control module for the blower fan for the heat and AC. He stated he had contacted the company and the contact person was very rude and told him the repairs would not be covered. My repair man told them that other companies had covered this item on other policies. The "bumper to bumper" coverage should cover this repair. The ARG contact hung up on the my repair man. I paid the $200 plus bill. I am not a happy camper and will continue to pursue this issue.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Spend a little extra money and buy a policy through your credit union or a reputable company. If you don't believe me check out the Better Business Bureau. Theres a reason they are not a member. The price is great, but there is no meat in the warranty. They list a lot of thing that are covered which seems pretty complete to someone who knows nothing about cars. When things start breaking you will quickly learn how much is not covered and how they will make every attempt to deny your claim if its more that 100 bucks or so. The Bumper to Bumper title BS is very misleading and a huge Joke! If I could give them less than a star I would. I'm not completely convinced the people who gave favorable reviews don't work for the company. There are a lot of shakey companies out there and this one is at the top. Check the BBB before you hand over your cash to anyone BEWARE!

I highly recommend this organization if you have limitless money to throw away and enjoy being yelled at and threatened by the owners. In the midst of scam artists like Bernie Madoff who commit acts of white collar evil without remorse, consumers should certainly have at the very least hightened awareness about companies like AUTO REPAIR WARRANTY GROUP that exist solely to RIP YOU OFF! Their website is misleading, their warranties are misleading, their staff tell lies, they do not pay for claims, they treat you worse than dirt if you call to complain. have a nice day Michael

I also have a warranty with Auto Repair Group aka Auto Repair Warranty, Inc. and i've never in a million years had any kind of problems with the company, owners, or employees. I've been with them for 3 years so far and i have another 2 years to go. I've made a handful of claims and sure sometimes not everything is covered but what was listed on my contract was fully covered and followed thru with on a timely basis. They arent an INSURANCE company.. I had a similiar problem with the "used parts" and its not always used.. they do get OEM parts that the dealer gets at a much cheaper price. You have to remember who the enemy is here.. the auto shop!! Ultimately by them actually getting the part i saved around $400 on the total bill. Just be careful what you read, disgruntled customers are surely to bad mouth something when they expect more then think they are entitled to more then what they purchase. Recommend this company to anyone! I'm with Jeepy4mom on this one!

I bought a bumper to bumper warranty from this company on my 1999 Ford Expedition. They advertise on their website that it is bumper to bumper. I have been told by the company that I did not purchase a bumper to bumper warranty, but rather an "insurance policy" for my vehicle. Since I purchased this warranty, again bumper to bumper, I have had to fight with this company on every issue and repair. I have been harassed by this company and have been told that the repair would not be covered everytime. After fighting for sometimes weeks, they finally say okay we will comprise and cover this part but you have to pay for this item. Often times the part I am responsible to pay for is the result of the part that is broken in the first place. I am told after purchasing my warranty that the only parts covered on my bumper to bumper coverage is internally lubricated parts. This company advertises that it is an A+ rated company, which is very misleading. The way that they represent this one would ... Read more
