Oh about...maybe... the 1,979th best rock guitarist I've ever heard. However, as a consolation prize, I would put him at #1 for Most Obvious/ Strongest New York accent.

A second rate hack in a second rate band. And yes, it is certainly possible to be second rate and still sell a lot of junk and make a pile of money.

Ace is a great guitarist and is a hell of a lot better then most of the hacks listed here (like Jimi Hendrix). He has influenced great guitar players to start playing and many of them said they would not even be a guitar player if it was not for Ace. Ace's sound is very distinctive and he helped Kiss become one of the greatest bands of all-time.
