Here's a guy who's reputation rests on the Declaration of Independence. He had nothing to do with the Constitution except to oppose. He was a thorn in the side of Washington and stabbed Adams in the back. He almost ruined the economy with his embargo and stupid foreign policy. If it weren't for Louisana, he would get a 2.

Guys lets get real! Have you ever heard of the Louisiana Purchase? Putting aside the affairs (then again which presidents aren't guilty of that) he doubled the size of our country. That alone should give him some points!

A highly overrated President. He basically treaded water as President, and failed to issue a strong response to the continuing British harrassment of American ships at sea. His embargo on all of Europe in 1808 crippled the American economy. Despite his role in the American Revolution, as President, Jefferson was largely a failure.
