 | Pierre (0) 08/27/2004 | Taken separate from commercial context the redhat distribution is not very good, lacks of applications and the update scheme is difficult.
But ... it has the great adventage to be supported by a lot of software companies and this make it usable in professional environment.
The stability is quite good, the security is quite bad.
A good point for the kickstart feature for adapting redhat to your needs in professional environment.

 | princessangry (2) 04/19/2004 | well... we cant network it now..... it also cant boot even after reformat and reeinstall... it crapped itself.... also redhat wont support ya if you dotn buy teh redhat network subscription. they told me too bad grr. I coulodnt even get a critical networking package... they fogot it. I am not sure of the name, but I know theres no point in having an OS if you cant network it! bah! I tried to get it working with another variation of the package and what's it to.... locks my ethernet card and holy-cow memory leak! then, after the 7th reformat..... it still wont boot. even If I recovered or anything!!!
