Canadians should have worn bags over their heads in shame for electing this guy. His disaster of a reign is over, however. I don't suppose the new government is going to be much of an improvement since it has a minority position.

Man, I am so glad Chretien is still our PM. I am so glad that his Deputy PM is still Paul Martin. I hope you're not Canadian, for the love of God, I hope you're not Canadian!

Apparantly waynthetrain doesn't think the US should've left Saddamn to engage in genocide at will? Nice to see the media feeds your opinion to you... in any case, an serious inquiry regarding the actions/legacy of Jean Chretien reveal the apparant disdain he held for the populous he 'represented' - he embodied corruption, scandal, and arrogance on a par with the Cold War era Soviet satellite bureaucracies. If you think he was good you didn't do your homework... no reason I should do it for you.

HERO! Aligned our country with peace and snubbed the power God and its army - the US military! I'm so glad we don't have to deal with that negative karma. Good luck Americans in your next provoked terrorist attack. The terrorists you create for your own amusement will end you and the power God's reign.

One of the better and more consistent ministers in Trudeau's cabinets, he proved the adage about people rising to their level of incompetence. As PM, particularly late in his tenure, became obsessed with hanging on to power and settling scores with old rivals.
