05/28/2005 | if you don't like gay people why even post on this topic? you obviously cant see anything about these people beyond their sexual orientation to see why or why not they would be a good role model relative to other gay role models so why are you here? i mean honestly.... Anyway I can't think of one bad thing about ellen degeneres. She's a great role model in general, and certainly a woman that reflects well upon the gay community.

08/12/2004 | GoneAway- it doesn't matter if someone is gay. from your position you should realize that god made them who they are. i am straight, but have no problem with my uncle's homosexuality. he is a really nice person and i'm fairly sure, that he would be accepted into heaven when the time comes. it is not right to view people as different in god's eyes because of the gender of their bedmates. and the constitution of the united states says all men are created equal this includes homosexuals and heterosexuals alike.

01/21/2004 | There was a time that I never thought Ellen could be a good gay role model. But as she gets older, she gets better. She has a wonderful personality, and she always seems to be so nice to everyone, regardless. I think she proves to be a great role model to gays everywhere. Keep up the great work Ellen...
