Never heard that one. Sounds more like something Old Hickory would say (Andrew Jackson would also add the tree needs a traitor or two to hang from it with a short rope). I know there's a 6'-6 glob of turban-wearing manure somewhere in Afghanistan that definitely should be fed to the tree.
