I have bought something simply because it was on sale, but usually it is something that I need.

thats the fun thing about shopping is finding those things on sale that you would never pay full price for but being on sale makes it a different story. its like you just found a treasure.

Sad but true. As most women like to do, my mom frequently browses the weekend yard sales in the area and comes home with a ton of stuff. Some of the clothes don't even fit her, and when I ask her why she bought them, she replies "they're only 25 cents".

For every item of clothing I've saved money on because I bought it on sale, there are 2 hanging in my closet that I've only worn once.

I do this all the time. I price and sign as my job so I know ahead of time when something is going to be on sale.

All the time - and many times without regret. But, I admit there are times when I dig something out of a closet 5 years later with the price tag still attached and wonder what in the world I was thinking. Just one of those shopping hazards I guess.
