I sort of like to collect certain items. but not because the are collectiblesFor example I have bought about 20 beanie babies over the last 10 years. but only becuase I thought certain ones were cute. I really have no interest in selling them.my kids were really into collecting beanie babies and still get some on occasion. On our smaller income these were affordable to us. my daughter must have at least 150 of them by now. Im not really one to buy things just because they are collectilbes though. I tend to have my own collection of stuff like coffee cups i like. nothing ohters would probably care about except for me.

Wanna buy a box full of those McDonalds Beany Babies? Or how about a couple of Tom Clark Gnomes? Yeah, I've done this. The result being that my largest collection is dust.
