Best place to watch a college basketball game, hands down. Very unique, and a lot of fun. A good team makes it even better!

whats with the layout?

It is timeto go! Use the Gaylord center. Bathrooms are old and do not meet modern standards. No bathrooms on the second or third level. Mostly bench seats that are hard to get up to. If you would get a good seat, you have to look up the entire game because the floor is raised.

I've been to a some other arenas in the SEC and by far Memorial Gym provides its students with the best view of the game. While most visiting coaches and teams will agree that the benches at the ends of the court are not helpful, we're used to it so it gives us a great advantage at home. I wouldn't have it any other way. If you haven't been to Memorial, I highly suggest you come experience the MAGIC!!!

One of the most unique facilities in the country. Great college basketball atmosphere. I liked it even more before the renovations, though.

If you ask me, this is the most unique, but great facility that I will like. The gym has recently been rennovated, and though it is large inside and that the benches the team sit are at the ends of the court, this multipurpose building (pictures on Google) is one of the best to see inside whenever you plan on going to sporting events or go to a theatre. Great slopes on the ousides!

Opposing coaches and teams hate it. The only arena with the benches on the end of the court, plus the only raised floor. The balconies hang over the court getting the crowd right on top. The seats are uncomfortable making you to want to stand.

strangest gym I've ever been in. Like watching basketball in a theatre. Pretty nice, though.
