Decent heat. Not much flavor. Can't get past the neon food coloring, though. i much prefer the El Yucateco Original Mayan Recipe.

All of El Yucateco's sauces are awesome. Just be sure to check the heat before dousing your entre as some of thier sauces can really burn your mouth. The green Hab sauce is good but pretty hot. My fav is the red one. Of all the common hot sauces this brand ranks number 1 in flavor and heat. These guys take care of business and they will always be included in my hot sauce collection.

All of their sauces are great from the XXX El Kutbil ik de Habanero to the roja, verde, and Caribbean style. No coloring, just clean habanero flavor!

Another good hot sauce but use a little common sense and have a taste before you splash it on your food, it can be a little over powering.

GREAT FLAVOR! GREAT HEAT! PERFECT 4 TACOS! (8910 Scoville Units) El Yucateco has several types I have seen, green, red and xxxtra hot habenero as well as chipotle, jalepeno and carribean. It advertises itself as the original Mayan sauce. The red and green are flavored with tomatoes garlic onions spices etc. There is more flavor in the milder sauces. I live in Dallas and a local Indian restraunt, Cafe Brazil as well as couple of taquerias have these sauces. 4oz. Bottle $1.99 at Albertsons $1.19 at Walmart Grocery store.
