I went on vaction to the Canary Islands and decided to go to a Playa Nudista-- a nude beach-- it was OK when I was laying on the beach and not concentating on the scenery; but I got up to cool up and go in the water and when I came up from my swim I was standing waist high and there were two teen-age girls not five feet away where the water was only up to their knees. I just returned from Paradise Valley, the place the owner of Paradise Lakes bought in Georgia. This is a great place to avoid. Believe me, it is nothing like Paradise Lakes. It is at best a mediocre nudist camp. I rented a so-called suite. It is one room that is nothing more than an average motel room. They have no phones or cable TV. I also rented a kitchen for which is $25 a day extra (if you can believe it). The kitchen has no oven, has a two burner cooktop and the refrigerator is one like you send a kid off to college with. There were, 5 plates, no bowls, about 8 glasses (none of which matched)three coffee cups which also did not match, no steak knives, no pots and a broken toaster oven. The resort's resturant is open two nights a week. At first they said I could smoke there (I was the only person in the place) but changed their minds when the manager came in and wanted to move away from my smoke. Checking in is another treat. I was quoted a price and was told it would be highter since they raised their rates the first of September. When I complained they did agree to charge me the rate I had been quoted. This place is found at the Paradise Lakes web site. Whatever you do, do not think they are anything at all alike. This place seems like it was an investment made by the owner of Paradise Lakes that needs to earn a return on his investment no matter what it means for the guests.

Just a thought folks... If you see someone at a nudist resort that you are attracted to do you DRESS them with your eyes?

Nudists are very nice, accepting people. You'd be surprised at who shows up at some of those Nudie colonies though. The women are NOT the Versace or Playboy Playmate types. The men are NOT the muscular hunky types either. Most of who go there are average typical people. Some very obese, Some very thin, Some very much normal. Not all of them are young. You see some very old people walking around. Mostly old men. Overall, You see yourself, but you feel secure.

A contolled environment where like people can be free and enjoy themselves unrestricted by clothing. They can also feel free from the inhibitions pushed upon us by the publics non acceptance of nudity,The very people lacking the intelligence to understand their own being and accept others as they are.
