We kept cool with Cal. Here is a man who was just right for America, both as the veep and as the pres. He is highly under-rated but we have the usual gaggle of Wilson-loving lefto historians to blame for that.

Although not a bitter man, Coolidge's attitude towards the Vice Presidency was much like that of Lyndon Johnson. He sat quietly in cabinet meetings and rarely made speeches or appearances in support of Harding or his policies. He did provide a smooth transition following the tragic death of President Harding.
