I've probably had just as many debates/arguments with republicans as I have democrats.

I enjoy a good debate with a worthy opponent. It is also a good place to learn about issues one might be unaware of.

I like debating for about 10 mins. Then the non-stop back and forth gets old fast!

Personally, I like it; but I have a feeling someone will disagree....

Nothing wrong with a good debate as long as it don't turn into an argument. There is a difference.

As in any other debate sites or forums, the quality  depends on the attitude of the reviewers. If the topics are taken seriously, it is a great tool and means of exchanging positive, constructive opinion where all can learn a thing or two. Unfortunately, there are always those who try to mock other reviewers and take the topic less than seriously with the clear intension of discrediting the site and the topics presented.

There are some interesting and provocative topics and entries. I'm never sure what my star rating means though. Does a 5 mean that I agree with one of the stated viewpoints, or that I think its a great topic, or that the subject is worthwhile to discuss or that I agree with the group. I'm just not sure.

Keep them coming.

It's a good forum to state your opinions and to learn what others think on a variety of controversial subjects.

Pretty good for the most part, but I'm running out of topics that interest me on this site. I was hoping for so much more in the sports section (I know I can make my own lists, but I just haven't got the time). Debate Corner gets into more substance at times (even though I've always decried debating as a waste of good time and effort), and is a good way of stating something and moving on. Glad it's available.

This probably is the best list I have seen in a long time. I enajoy lots of other lists (travel, military topics,and some of the more comical ones), but this one is thought-provoking (although there is one list that is quite similar, but a bit more succinct). Redoedo should be commended for the thought and effort he has put into this. I can see where a lot of my time is going to be spent for a while...

A good idea. I like having a lot of the topics we can debate over on the same list. It makes it very convenient. You have done a great job putting this together Redoedo.! I was impressed to see the many topics that you and other listers have suggested.

I was skeptical at first, because I didn't see it fitting into the 1-5 rating format very well. Now I see that the rating doesn't really matter... it's the discussion that's important. Redoedo has done an outstanding job with this list.

It's good. The only problem is people who post and have no earthly idea what they are talking about. I have much more respect for someone I totally disagree with than someone who makes a feeble attempt to sound intelligent but really knows absolutely nothing about the subject. Just my 2 cents!

I think it is an exciting list full of lots of fun for me...as I have always loved to debate. Most people have been really polite and courteous as well..what more could you want on a debate list? Thanks for creating it Redoedo..as always you do a great job on your lists...we want MORE, MORE, MORE ! Please? :)

It provides a vast quantity of important issues to discuss and gives me a forum to express all my views.
